A postdoctoral position is available to study the development of vascular stabilization using the zebrafish model in the lab of Sarah Childs at the University of Calgary. We seek to understand the interactions between the endothelial lining and mural cell support cells using genetics and imaging. We seek a creative, energetic postdoc to work on a funded project, available immediately. Candidates must be within 3 years of their PhD degree and a strong background in molecular biology, with preference for candidates with expertise in developmental or vascular biology.
We are located at the University of Calgary, in newly renovated labs within the Alberta Children’s Hospital Research Institute. State of the art imaging and molecular biology facilities are available.
Interested candidates should send their CV, and a cover letter outlining their interests to Sarah Childs, firstname.lastname@example.org.
