International Stem Cell Awareness Day is October 3, 2012, so on this day please help spread the word about the importance of stem cell research! In celebration of this day, I just created a post on my blog at AllThingsStemCell that includes a summary of stem cell history and recent research breakthroughs and highlights.

With all due respect, International Stem Cell Awareness Day should not be October 3. What better day for celebrating pluripotency than Oct4? Perhaps we can get the US Army’s slogan as the motto: “Be all that you can be.”
