Call for Chapter Proposals

Cellular Dynamics in Development and Disease: From Morphogenesis to Metastasis

Following external peer review and conditional acceptance of the edited volume Cellular Dynamics in Development and Disease: From Morphogenesis to Metastasis, we invite proposals for a limited number of additional chapters to address key thematic areas identified during the review process.

We are particularly interested in contributions focusing on:

1. Organ-Specific Cellular Dynamics in Cancer

Chapters exploring developmental and disease-associated cellular dynamics in:

• Lung cancer
• Breast cancer
• Liver cancer
• Colorectal cancer

2. Clinical Translation of Developmental Cell Biology

Topics may include:

• Developmental pathways as therapeutic targets
• Cancer diagnostics and biomarkers
• Drug development targeting cellular plasticity
• Translational and precision medicine approaches

3. Emerging Frontiers and Future Perspectives

A synthesis chapter addressing:

• Future directions in morphogenesis and metastasis research
• Emerging technologies and methodologies
• Translational opportunities and unresolved challenges

The volume aims to bridge developmental biology and cancer biology by examining how fundamental cellular processes governing embryonic development are reprogrammed during disease progression and metastasis.

Interested contributors should submit:

• Proposed chapter title
• Abstract (250–300 words)
• Short biography (100–150 words)
• Institutional affiliation

Proposals will be evaluated based on scientific quality, originality, and alignment with the scope of the volume.
