I'm currently an assistant professor in developmental and cellular Biology at Reed College in Portland, OR. I study eye growth and development in zebrafish, concentrating on cell cycle control and neurogenesis. In my previous lives I've been an editor at Cell, a post-doc in Steve Wilson's lab at UCL, a grad student at Johns Hopkins, and a biology and chemistry teacher at Friends Select School in Philadelphia.
