Welcome to the new resources section on the Node!
We have refurbished our resources page as well as migrating the existing BSDB resource page to the Node. The BSDB resource page was carefully curated by Andreas Prokop of The University of Manchester; we thank him for his extensive work on this. The new resources page project was undertaken by Sarah Morson, an EASTBIO DTP Intern from The University of Edinburgh.
The new resource section is now spilt into four sections:
Advocacy and outreach: this section is dedicated to advice and tools to help you advocate for basic research and get involved with various forms of scientific outreach.
Teaching resources: this section is intended to provide resources to inspire the next generation of scientific researchers through classroom tools to teach science, as well as resources for university students.
Audio-visual section: a collection of audio-visual resources for browsing to enhance understanding and interest in a range of biological topics.
Resources for researchers: a collection of resources to assist scientific researchers with carrying out their developmental biology research.
Societies and journals: a list of relevant international/regional/national societies and publications
We hope you find these lists useful, but they are by no means comprehensive and this community resource needs your input! Get in touch with us and tell us what resources are important to you.
