Felicity Davis

Felicity Davis heads the Calcium Signalling Laboratories at Aarhus University and the University of New South Wales. Her labs explore how intracellular calcium signalling orchestrate the development, function and regeneration of the mammary gland and reproductive organs. Her research utilises genetic model organisms and quantitative imaging across the scales of cells, tissue and the organ as a whole. Felicity is a long-standing advocate for DEI, authoring manuscripts on this topic in Nature Cell Biology (Apr 2023, Nov 2023) and Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology (Nov 2022). She led a funding initiative to open a large museum exhibition in Denmark on the neglect of female biology and women's health research. In 2023, she interviewed by Journal of Cell Science as a Cell Scientist to Watch.
