Founded in 2003, Lund Stem Cell Center is an academic research consortium at the forefront of the life sciences, recognized for our world-leading and pioneering basic and translational research within stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. Diverse, dynamic, and science driven - the Center promotes high-quality research, accelerates the transfer of innovative discoveries to the clinic, and educates the next generation of stem cell scientists. Today our network spans 43 research groups and over 300 researchers, scientists, and students at varying career stages—all spread across several departments at Lund University in Sweden. Our vibrant scientific community explores the unknowns of human physiology, seeking new insights in neuroscience, haematology, immunology, endocrinology, bioengineering, and much more. Together, we are committed to creating a world where stem cell-based therapies are a reality, providing new treatment options for patients who are today living without a cure.
