Born in Japan, I have been scientifically raised in the USA then Italy. After my scientific journey through stem cell biology and hematology, our lab in the University of Hong Kong focuses on cancer immunology from the perspective of stem cells and cell engineering. We use vascular immune organoids, single-cell molecular barcoding system, and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) technology. We aim to produce functional immune cells from human pluripotent stem cells and remodel tumor microenvironment.
