I did my PhD from Department of Molecular Reproduction Development and Genetics (MRDG), Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. For my PhD, I worked on the role of novel gene in neuronal development and function of Drosophila. During my PhD, I got very interested in cell fate specification and differentiation, and the regulation of these processes by transcription factors (specificity of TF-DNA binding). I am currently on a career break for health reasons. Looking forward to keep myself engaged with the community through reading and discussions.
