tomoko Watanabe

Postdoctoral Research Scientist Tomoko Received BSc in Genetics and Development from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA in 1996, earned MA, MPhil and PhD from the department of Genetics and Development in Columbia University, New York, USA where she worked on mouse embryonic kidney organogenesis. She joined the Professor Shankar Srinivas’ group in 2006 to study cell lineage in preimplantation mouse embryos, and lipid visualisation in early embryos, a collaborative project with the department of Engineering, Univ. of Oxford. She leads public engagement effort for the Srinivas group.
