Postdoc position focused on mammalian regeneration available in the Lehoczky Lab

A Postdoc position is available in the field of mammalian regenerative biology using the model of digit tip regeneration. Start date is flexible.

The Lehoczky Lab studies numerous aspects of mouse digit tip regeneration. This Postdoc position is funded by an NIH R01 grant focused on cellular heterogeneity and plasticity in the regenerating mouse digit tip. This position provides an exciting opportunity to work at the interface of basic and translational research in the collaborative and stimulating environment of Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and the Longwood Medical Area.

Candidacy considerations:

  • PhD in Biology or related discipline is required
  • Candidate must have a strong background in regenerative biology, developmental biology, molecular biology, and/or genetics
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively is expected
  • Prior experience using mouse as an experimental model is preferred
  • Computational skills such as RStudio and scRNAseq analysis are a plus
