Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University College London

Posted by , on 22 October 2023

Location: London

Closing Date: 9 November 2023

The focus of the post will be on histone-mutated diffuse high-grade glioma (DMG), but the successful candidate will be encouraged to develop parallel research projects on other paediatric or adult brain cancers. There are strong links between cancer and developmental biology, in particular in paediatric cancers. Childhood cancers are mostly developmental disorders that need to be studied in the context of a developing embryo. The successful candidate will combine developmental biology (e.g. in inter electroporation), molecular analysis (single cell transcriptomics and spatial approaches) and cancer biology to investigate the role of cellular senescence in the onset, progression and relapse of paediatric DMG.
