Postdoc position (ERC funded), Cell Death and Epithelial Homeostasis lab, Institut Pasteur Paris
Posted by Romain Levayer, on 18 March 2024
Location: Institut Pasteur (Paris)
Closing Date: 2 December 2024
Our research group (Cell Death and Epithelial Homeostasis) located in Institut Pasteur (Paris, France) in the department of Developmental and Stem Cell Biology is seeking a postdoc that will be covered by an ERC CoG (initially for 2 years, can be extended up to 4.5 years), ideally to start in the fall of 2024.
We are looking for a candidate with good knowledge in cell and developmental biology, good expertise in live imaging and a clear taste for manipulating quantitative data. Basic knowledge in coding is a plus but not mandatory. There is no requirement for past experience with Drosophila.
The applicant will join a dynamic and supportive group that promotes healthy work life balance, with members coming from various backgrounds, and located in a collegial and vibrant department. The application will also get direct technical support from the various platforms in Pasteur and engineers dedicated to image analysis in the group and the department.
If you are interested, please, send a single pdf document with CV, cover letter, and reference contact to romain.levayer@pasteur.fr (with the subject “postdoc application”).
