Laboratory Technician – Research Laboratories

Location: Oxford Brookes University - Department of Biological and Medical Sciences

Closing Date: 18 August 2024

We are looking for two lab technicians to manage the day-to-day running of our state-of-the-art research labs, one specialising in cell and plant biology and the second in Drosophila husbandry.

You will need to have a good understanding of lab management and health and safety and enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for reinforcing good lab practice, maintaining lab equipment and supporting our research teams across different labs.

The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a friendly and approachable manner.
