Postdoc position in Campinas, Brazil – Bioinformatics

The competitive candidate has attained his/her PhD less than 7 years ago. He/She has an excellent academic record in the graduate course. He/She is proactive, capable to work independently and in group. The activities will revolve mostly around the study of raw data from scRNAseq experiments. He/She has also experience in R and Python among other programming languages, besides knowledge in integrated analyses of multiomics data.

The candidate will help to create pipelines for data analyses that might be replicated and help the hosting research group. The selected candidate will be based at the State University of Campinas’s Institute of Biology (IB-UNICAMP) in Brazil.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 12,000.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
