DBNY – Developmental Biology New York – Student Research Conference

Posted by , on 20 October 2025

We are hosting our SEVENTH undergraduate-focused research conference. DBNY2025 will be on December 6th, from 9:30am-5pm, at Ithaca College. Registration is free, and several prizes for best talks and posters will be awarded. We will even feed you lunch (and light breakfast items if you arrive early)!

DBNY is a friendly and hopefully fun environment for students to present their work. The registration and abstract submission forms are ready for you, and the website is LIVE and ready to accept your information and abstracts. Please send in abstracts by 11/19 (there is a bit of wiggle room on that deadline – keep us posted if you’re planning on sending in an abstract a few days late).

Our website is live:

In addition to talks and posters, we will have a keynote speaker, and a career panel focusing on options after college. Our hope is that most presentations will feature undergraduates, though we would love grad students and postdocs to attend as well. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please save the date on your calendars, help spread the word, and invite your students. Also, please forward this message to colleagues who might be interested in attending. We define Development (the ‘D’ in DBNY) broadly as the biology of change, so please consider attending if your research fits this description.
