The Stone Group at the Institute of Developmental and Regenerative Medicine, University of Oxford, is looking for a motivated Postdoctoral Research Scientist to develop tools and techniques that enable the bioengineering of human lymphatic networks. The Stone Group is focused on understanding the earliest steps of vertebrate vascular development and using this knowledge to develop in vitro models of human development.

In this role, you will refine and optimize methods for the directed differentiation of human embryonic stem cells into lymphatic endothelium and collaborate with the group of Professor Dame Molly Stevens on the bioengineering of lymphatic networks using advanced microfabrication techniques.

The ideal candidate should hold, or be near completion of, a PhD/DPhil in developmental or stem cell biology. You will be highly organized, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and have good communication skills.
