The INRAE Fish Physiology and Genomics Institute and the Rennes University Hospital are hiring 2 postdocs in functional genomics.

The research projects will use the model fish species medaka (Oryzias latipes) to disentangle:

  • the role of novel genes in Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI)
  • the maternal regulation of behavior by neurodevelopmental disorder genes

To answer these questions, we will combine CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing and single-cell transcriptomics.

Previous experience in transcriptomics, bioinformatics and molecular biology is required. Interest in reproductive biology and comparative genomics would be appreciated.
