Postdoc position available studying the impact of nutrition on fertility in Drosophila

Posted by , on 9 October 2026

Closing Date: 6 November 2026

We are seeking a postdoc to join our team, studying how nutrition influences fertility in Drosophila. The lab addresses the role of metabolism in fertility across tissues and organs, from how diet regulates physiology to the specific metabolites required within the somatic gonad and the germline itself to ensure normal gamete development. This project aims to address how and where dietary cues are interpreted and relayed to the gonad to influence stem cell behaviour.

Applications are open via the UCL job portal. More information on the lab website: amoyellab.com. We welcome informal enquiries, please contact Marc Amoyel: marc.amoyel@ucl.ac.uk.
