I am the Features & Reviews Editor for Disease Models & Mechanisms (DMM), a non-profit, disease-focused journal published in Cambridge, by The Company of Biologists (publishers of Development). We publish research and review-type articles on the mechanisms underlying developmental disorders and how this can help to improve diagnosis and treatment. Prior to becoming an Editor, I did a PhD investigating the effects of treatments for paediatric Crohn's Disease on the autophagy pathway and I then did a postdoc on the effects of a non-canonical autophagy pathway on the ageing immune system.
