Biography:
I graduated with a PhD in Immunology from Johns Hopkins University in 2007 and did my postdoctoral training at the University of California, San Diego, CA from 2007-2014. I am currently a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at Oregon Health & Science University, Portland. My research interests are focused on understanding how non-coding RNAs determine cell survival during stress responses.
