Gastrointestinal Tract XXI: Life, Death, and Disease

Posted by , on 7 February 2024

September 8—12, 2024 | Banff, Canada
For almost 40 years, this biennial conference has focused on the biology and diseases of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. This year, attendees will explore the complex pathophysiological mechanisms of GI epithelial biology, focusing on the interplay between the host and microbes, as well as the causes of mucosal inflammation and immune responses. Participants can learn about the latest research on stem cell biology, developmental biology, neoplasia, cellular plasticity, and more. Attendees will gain new insights into the fundamental processes that underlie GI health and disease and explore new avenues for research and discovery in this critical area of study. Learn more
