Since 1993, this conference has focused on the cloning and characterization of a subset of the major glucose transporter isoforms. It has since evolved to embrace emergent topics in metabolic control mechanisms as they relate to chronic diseases and conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. This year’s meeting will bring together biochemists, cell biologists, physiologists, pharmacologists, and clinical investigators interested in metabolic diseases. Learn more
