Graduate Student – Cardiac Development and Disease

Posted by , on 12 September 2022

Location: Oxford, MS, USA

Closing Date: 1 February 2023

Our research seeks to understand the mechanisms underlying the regulation of morphogenetic and identity transformations that occur during cardiac development and disease. We take an interdisciplinary approach, combining the genetic and imaging strengths of zebrafish (including CRISPR/Cas9, forward screens and time-lapse experiments) with both biophysical and cell biological methodologies. New projects include focuses on the intersection of cardiac development and cell movement, glycosylation, cell plasticity and disease modeling.
