The Peter Mac Cancer research facilities are embedded within the world-leading Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac), Australia’s largest cancer-dedicated public hospital.
Peter Mac is a fully integrated cancer research centre, with research activities spanning clinical, translational and fundamental laboratory research.
Peter Mac is seeking two exceptional new research Group Leaders with an established or aspiring skill-set and broad strategic fit with our key strengths and strategic priorities.
The successful applicants will be emerging or established laboratory or clinician researchers with a commitment to the running of a world-class research laboratory. At least one appointee will identify as female.
These newly-created positions offer exceptional support with a 7 year package for first time group leaders and a 5 year package for established group leaders. In addition to access to Peter Mac’s outstanding range of core facilities including genomics/transciptomics, microscopy, flow cytometry, functional genomics and unparalleled access to unique patient cohorts. Furthermore, we have state-of-the-art facilities for the use of a range of model organisms including vertebrate and invertebrate model systems.
