Looking to conduct research in molecular biology and genetics? Come join the Kardon lab! We are looking for a lab technician to help us research the role of stem cells in muscle development and regeneration and determine the effects of viral infection on muscle structure and function. Technician will conduct research (leading to publications) as well as assist in management of a mouse colony. Must be reliable, well organized, detail-oriented, excited about research and committed to working in our lab for at least two years. Prior lab experience is preferred (although not necessarily required), and class work in biology and enthusiasm for science is essential. BS or BA required. Lab is located at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, affording amazing opportunities for science and outdoor recreation. Excellent team environment and great benefits. Funding for position independent of federal sources. Flexible start dates April-June 2025.
