Postdoctoral position in human placental development- University of Colorado

We are searching for a qualified post-doctoral fellow to join our growing laboratory. Our work focuses on stem cells and reproductive biology, particularly of the placenta. This individual will conduct interdisciplinary and highly collaborative research in in vitro 3D modeling to understand how the early placenta develops. The researcher will work primarily in tissue culture to model early development of the placenta, and a basic understanding or willingness to learn bioinformatics is desired. The candidate should be proficient in, or highly motivated to learn, complex 3D culture, imaging techniques, and bioinformatic analysis. Successful applicants will need to work both independently and collaboratively, exhibit excellent skills in scientific communication, and be dedicated to scientific reproducibility, replicability, and transparency.

Salary: $62,232 – $70,344

Start date: 1 September 2025
