Haitina lab at the Department of Organismal Biology, Evolution and Development program at Uppsala University is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative candidate to study gene regulation and 3D cell structure of the skeletal joint and ligament tissues using the zebrafish model. The successful candidate will investigate the cell heterogeneity in the joint interzone layers and skeleton-associated ligaments and tendons by combining single-cell RNA sequencing and 3D cell morphologies.
Applicants with prior experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: single cell transcriptomics, zebrafish model, developmental biology, skeletal development, flow cytometry. Postdoctoral applicants must have a PhD.
