Postdoctoral Positions in Biology of Pediatric brain tumors

Three postdoctoral positions are available in The Children’s Brain Tumor Project (department of Neurological Surgery) in the Souweidane, Greenfield and Dahmane groups (https://www.childrensbraintumorproject.org/) to perform basic and translational research to improve outcomes for children with brain tumors by advancing scientific discovery and clinical therapeutics.

Research in the Children’s Brain Tumor Project focuses on developmental neurobiology, brain cancer biology, CRISPR screens, targeted therapy, effective drug delivery approaches, and low treatment-related toxicity for various pediatric brain tumors including diffuse midline gliomas, medulloblastoma, ETMR, ATRT, choroid plexus carcinomas.

We seek enthusiastic, highly qualified and motivated individuals to join our research groups. The successful candidates should have a Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. degree with a strong background in cancer biology and/or biochemistry/molecular biology. Research experience in molecular biology, mouse models of cancer, developmental biology, computational biology, pharmacokinetics/dynamics and/or theranostics would be advantageous.

Salary Range for this position is: $58,500 – $66,538. Weill Cornell Medicine provides the above salary range in compliance with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range listed is for full‐time employment not including benefits, bonuses, or clinical incentive compensation where applicable. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs.
