Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the lab of Sally Lowell, University of Edinburgh

We are looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work within a fantastic group of friendly and supportive people on a Wellcome-Trust funded project studying mechanistic links between morphogenesis and differentiation.

The successful candidate will work within the lab of Sally Lowell at the Centre for Regenerative Medicine to develop a project to that aims to understand how local communication between pluripotent cells influences their cell fate decisions, and how this process is influenced by changes in adhesion and tissue morphology.  This project will make use of our custom-built image analysis and syntheic biology tools to monitor and manipulate cell-cell interactions and multicellular organisation in the contexts of 3D cultures and chimeric mouse embryos.

Salary: £34,304- £40,927
