The recruited postdoctoral researcher will conduct research to understand molecular mechanisms for Schistosome resistance in Biomphalaria glabrata, an intermediate host of schistosoma. This project is part of an NIH-(National Institute of Health, USA) funded research programme (RO1, PI: Dr. Si-Ming Zhang, New Mexico University), and is supported for five years to May 2027.
