Research Technician in reproductive endocrinology and stem cells

This post is based within the Centre for Endocrinology at WHRI, an internationally recognised hub in London that unites leading clinical and non-clinical scientists investigating the genetic, cellular and molecular basis of endocrine diseases across the life course. The Centre hosts major programmes in pituitary, adrenal, thyroid and metabolic disorders, provides specialist endocrine services to one of the largest patient populations in London, and offers a dynamic training environment with close links to MSc, PhD and clinical fellowship programmes.

The appointed person will contribute to an active research programme in pituitary and reproductive endocrinology by undertaking research investigations in close collaboration with, and under the supervision of, Dr Karine Rizzoti (https://www.qmul.ac.uk/whri/people/academic-staff/items/rizzotikarine.html). They will provide combined technical and administrative support to advance and coordinate studies on the dual developmental origin of pituitary gonadotrophs and to explore how these cell populations regulate reproductive hormone production and influence fertility and broader reproductive health and disease.

 

 

Salary: £33,263 - £37,472 per annum
