Research Assistant Position – Cardiovascular Development & Regeneration (Simões Group, Oxford)

Location: Oxford

🧬 You will:
·       Maintain zebrafish lines
·       Perform molecular biology techniques & prepare samples for flow cytometry, immunofluorescence & sequencing
·       Conduct 2D & 3D cellculture techniques, including organoid systems
·       Assist with advanced techniques including CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing & single cell omics approaches
·       Contribute to project planning, data analysis & preparation of scientific reports

🎯 We are looking for:

·       First degree in biological sciences, biomedical sciences or related field
·       Hands-on laboratory experience in molecular biology and/or cell culture techniques
·       Strong organisational skills & attention to detail
·       Self-motivated with ability to work independently & as part of a team
·       Bonus points for zebrafish or hPSC expertise!
