Looking to conduct research in development and regeneration? Come join the Kardon lab! We are looking for a research lab technician/specialist to help us research the role of stem cells in muscle development and regeneration and determine the effects of viral infection on muscle structure and function. Technician/specialist will assist in management of a mouse colony as well as conduct research (leading to publications). Must be reliable, well organized, detail-oriented, excited about research and committed to working in our lab for at least two years. Prior lab experience is preferred (although not necessarily required), and class work in biology and enthusiasm for science is essential. BS or BA required. Lab is located at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, affording amazing opportunities for science and outdoor recreation. Excellent team environment and great benefits. Flexible start dates May-July 2024.
