We have a vacancy for a postdoctoral research associate, funded by a BBSRC grant, to work on the roles of spastic paraplegia gene products in formation of axonal ER, and identification of new genes and cellular processes involved in this. Applicants should have a PhD in a biological science, interests in neuronal cell biology, and experience in as many as possible of the following: model organism genetics, genetic screens, neuronal cell biology, light or electron microscopy, live imaging, molecular biology, and bioinformatics.
