Heidelberg, Germany

EMBL Course: Microinjection in Zebrafish and Medaka: From Transgenesis to CRISPR

The course provides hands-on tutorials and the theory behind gene transfer into fish embryo, as well as gene knock-in/-out using CRISPR/Cas. Microinjection into zebrafish and medaka embryos to be covered as well as subsequent screening to identify positive founder fish.

July 02, 2019 — July 04, 2019
Heidelberg, Germany

EMBL Course: Super-Resolution Microscopy

This covers theory and practical application of current super-resolution microscopy techniques to biological questions. Participants will use current super-resolution microscopes for Localisation Microscopy and STED Microscopy on a variety of fixed and living samples prepared during the course.
