Postdoctoral position in cardiac valve developmental biology and disease

Available immediately, the applicant must have a recent PhD. She/he will work on a project to understand the environmental origins vs genetics of calcific aortic valve disease (CAVD). The project will use in-vivo mouse models of CAVD, lineage tracing and clonal analysis, single-cell omics, and in- vitro patient-specific iPS cells-derived valvular cells in 3D. The aim is to find pharmacological targets of disease.
The position is at Medical School la Timone in Marseilles, South of France in Puceat’s lab. The lab has all facilities, mouse models, and iPSC human models already available. The project is and will be performed in close collaboration with international labs ( USA and Europe). The fellow will have the opportunity to spend some training time in these labs.
