Postdocs and Technician — Neuroscience of Regeneration

We are looking for postdocs (senior and young) and a research technician to join our neuroscience lab at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Genoa.

Our goal is to understand how function and neural dynamics come back during regeneration, combining tools to record and manipulate neural activity and behavior in highly regenerative species, including hydra, apple snail, and axolotl.Techniques include two-photon microscopy, electrophysiology, optogenetics, quantitative behavioral analysis, circuit tracing and more.Positions are fully funded and offer competitive salaries. Previous experience in developmental or regenerative biology, particularly with any of these organisms, is highly valued but not strictly necessary.
