Iwan Evans

I am a senior lecturer in the Division of Clinical Medicine in the School of Medicine and Population Health at the University of Sheffield. I am also a member of the Bateson Centre. I work on understanding the regulation of migration in vivo using Drosophila. More specifically I work with the macrophages of this organism (also known as hemocytes) and am currently focusing on how their interactions with apoptotic cells regulates the migration and function of these important innate immune cells.
