Development is excited to host a webinar series showcasing the latest developmental biology and stem cell research. Since 2023, we have showcased postdocs applying for independent positions as part of our Pathway to Independence (PI) programme. The webinars typically occur once a month and are now held over Zoom. Previously, the webinars were chaired each month by a different Development Editor, who invited talks from authors of exciting new papers and preprints. Subscribe to our mailing list using the button on the right to receive details about upcoming webinars as they are announced and learn more about the story behind Development presents… in this post on the Node.

Call for speakers now open
To better reflect the geographical diversity of our field, we would like to widen the pool of potential Development presents… speakers and supplement the applicants of the PI programme with additional self-nominations from postdocs – based outside of the US and Europe – looking to transition to secure an independent position within the next year or so.
If you would like to be considered as a Development presents… speaker in 2025 (and early 2026), please follow the link below. The deadline for nominations is Friday, 28 March 2025.
