The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University seeks an Associate Research Scientist in the area of vertebrate developmental biology in the Morphogenesis and Developmental Biomechanics Lab for the investigation of germ-layer switching in the posterior avian endoderm.

The incumbent will perform experiments related to cell fate determination and germ-layer fate switching in the early vertebrate embryo, with a particular focus on lineage tracing and embryological manipulations.

Minimum Degree: The position requires a PhD in Developmental Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field, and postdoctoral experience in embryology. Minimum Qualifications: Related lab experience.
