Bioinformatician Postdoctoral Research Associate; gene networks/ molecular signalling in human blood development

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Bioinformatician to investigate cellular and molecular markers of human umbilical cord blood (UCB) that correlate with transplantation outcomes.

Our laboratory aims to understand mechanisms underlying development and regenerative potential of haematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), using embryonic and foetal tissues as well as ES/iPS cells. The successful candidate will be working closely with other posts on this Project and with other members of the laboratory. There will be an opportunity to apply your bioinformatics skills and collaborate within our International Consortium, which includes experts in machine learning, haematopoietic stem cell biology, cord blood banking and clinical haematology.

Salary: UE07 £36,333 - £43,155 Per Annum
