Post-doctoral or PhD position to work on Evo-Devo reptile project at UBC, Vancouver

Location: Vancouver

Closing Date: 31 January 2025

    • One position for either postdoctoral  fellow (less than 2 years from PhD) or PhD student
    • NIH-funded project, applications due January 31st, 2025
    • Start date April 1, 2025 (negotiable)
    • US citizens, Canadian and International applicants eligible to apply
    • Preferred qualifications include experience with animal models, expertise with molecular biology techniques such as in situ hybridization, qRT-PCR, RNA isolation, RNA-seq (bulk and sc), analysis of ATAC-seq and RNA-seq data
    • Should have a deep interest in evolution of vertebrates, interest in tooth development, interest in stem cells
