Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

Closing Date: 1 January 2023

ICMM

We are looking for a postdoc with a strong interest in epigenetics and gametogenesis to join us for a 2-year fellowship. The Stewart-Morgan lab is interested in epigenetic dynamics and function in germ cell biology. We use both in vivo and in vitro models of mammalian gametogenesis to study the role of the epigenome in germ cell fitness and elucidate general epigenetic principles using this unique biological system. We strive for an open, collaborative and collegial work environment that provides ample mentorship and training opportunities to further each members’ individual career goals.

Experience in mouse embryology, stem cell culture, and/ or functional genomics/ bioinformatics is especially welcome. The position is fully funded and we offer competitive salaries. The application deadline is 1 January 2023.

We are located at the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine (ICMM) in the heart of Copenhagen. ICMM is a highly collaborative environment with state-of-the-art facilities and hosts strong expertise in germ cell biology and functional genomics. We are in close proximity to and collaborate with other renowned research centers, including NNF-CPR and NNF-reNEW. We are a young and dynamic team, and the successful candidate will play an integral role in establishing the lab and research environment.
