Postdoctoral positions in hematopoietic stem cell biology are available in the Forsberg laboratory at the at the Institute for the Biology of Stem Cells (IBSC) at the University of California at Santa Cruz. We work on hematopoietic stem cell fate decisions and trafficking, from early development into aging. Additional postdoctoral and research specialist positions are available as part of a stem cell cluster hire in neighboring labs at the IBSC. A new NIH-funded IRACDA postdoctoral training program supports the training of a cohort of fellows who focus on pursuing an academic career, with additional positions sponsored by individual research groups. We welcome applications from ambitious applicants who want to pursue stem cell research in an interdisciplinary and collegial environment.
