Posted by , on 12 September 2023

Closing Date: 5 October 2023

Dear colleagues,

Our department is looking to fill 4 positions up to Reader level at the School of Life Sciences, University of Essex, deadline is 5th October.

Fields of interest are quite wide and include epigenetics, cancer genomics, ageing, model organisms (Drosophila, C. elegans; potentially Zebrafish) and organoids, virology and related fields.

More details here:

https://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/DCC372/lecturer-senior-lecturer-or-reader

I would be grateful if you could spread the word and let anyone who may be interested know about this opportunity.

Our department is very supportive, and we have done very well in the last UK REF and shot up the ranks. We are now in the top 26 University departments for biological sciences research power, and the top 24 for research impact. The research in the School benefits from a collegial research environment, excellent lab and computational facilities and notable year-on-year increasing success in securing research funding.

Best wishes,
