Dr. Rossant definitely conveys her enthusiasm for developmental biology, for figuring out how the genetic information contained within a single cell can give rise to complex human beings. As she says, “You can’t have it all, but you can give it a jolly good try.” That is, after all, the essence of discovery, of learning, and indeed, of life. Thanks for sharing this video. I’m looking forward to others like it.

I got a message from Kim (co-producer) that she’d been asked to take it down, but she didn’t have a lot of info about the issue herself. I don’t know if it will be back later, but I’m keeping an eye out for it. It was really great – you’d have loved it!
