NIH-funded Postdoctoral Positions in Stem Cell Engineering, University of California, Santa Cruz

An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available in the Shariati lab in the Department of Biomolecular Engineering, Baskin School of Engineering at University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC). The department has a vibrant research community with strong focus on stem cell biology, Genomics and Bioinformatics (home to UCSC genome browser). Our lab is affiliated with The Institute for the Biology of Stem Cells and UCSC Genomics Institute with access to state-of-the-art facilities.

Successful candidates will combine emerging single cell live imaging, epigenome-editing tools to decode the signaling network that regulate self-organization of stem cells into embryo models .

Applicants with demonstrated experience in any of the following areas are highly encouraged to apply: Embryo models, Stem Cell Biology, Single Cell imaging and CRISPR screening.
