Postdoc – Developmental Neuroscience meets metabolism

We are looking for a new team member to explore how metabolism instructs nervous system development during the CriticalPeriod plasticity window in Drosophila. This is a cross-disciplinary collaboration between the groups led by Matthias Landgraf at (University ofCambridge) and Marco Sciacovelli (University of Liverpool), funded by the BBSRC. The project builds on recent publications (e.g.Sobrido-Cameán et al., 2025).
If you are interested in neuroscience and would like to discover how metabolism intersects with nervous system development, then get in touch. While primarily a “wet-lab” position, you should be comfortable with some bioinformatics analyses and data science of omics data.
