Postdoctoral and Research assistant positions in Human Development – London

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate and research asistant to work within the labs of Prof. Corinne Houart and Dr. Katie Long at the Centre for Developmental Neurobiology. This joint project is part of the Wellcome Trust funded Human Developmental Biology Initiative (HDBI) and aims to characterise the cell behaviour of progenitors and new-born neurons in the human embryonic telencephalon.

Postdoc.candidates should have, or be about to obtain, a PhD in Neuroscience or developmental biology. Research assistant candidates should have a Master in Neuroscience or Developmental Biology or equivalent.

Applicants should have strong experience in developmental neuroscience, cell culture and imaging techniques. Experience with time-lapse imaging, organotypic cultures, single-cell RNA sequencing or human cell/tissue culture are all desirable.
